Evaluated Skills
The TESTCan measures four linguistic skills:
- Listening;
- Reading;
- Speaking;
- Writing.
Listening
You will listen to different recorded passages (dialogues, interviews and brief lectures) and answer to questions based on these.
Length: 50 to 60 minutes.
Reading
The first part consists in a quick reading test (Skimming and Scanning) that lasts 15 minutes.
The second part includes a comprehension test, with questions on three or four written passages, and a cloze test to complete (i.e. a text where about thirty segments have been deleted) by choosing the appropriate words in a given list.
Length: 60 minutes.
Speaking
During an interview conducted by two evaluators, you will answer to certain questions about your personal and professional life.
Length: 15 minutes.
Writing
You will write a composition on a given topic.
Length: 45 minutes.
